Support for the photo Saint Bernards from Zermatt
The well-being of Saint Bernards is a priority for the Barry Foundation. The non-profit organisation has therefore announced that it would be prepared to offer its support to the owners and the municipality of Zermatt in connection with the photo Saint Bernards and their future home.
The Barry Foundation has many years of experience in the breeding and keeping of hospice Saint Bernards. A professional team takes care of the well-being, optimal development, socialisation and training of the dogs.
The Foundation sets great store by promoting the well-being and health of the dogs by finding appropriate occupations for them in order to have a positive influence on the protection and upkeep of the breed. The Saint Bernards from the Barry Foundation enjoy a varied, well-balanced occupational programme in addition to their two daily walks. The hospice dogs are used as walking or social dogs for instance, or take part in activities such as mobility (a type of agility for larger dogs) and target object searches, as well as learning tricks.
The Foundation has been awarded the Certodog seal of approval in recognition of the exemplary management of its breeding kennels. The Barry Foundation also enjoys a very good network in Saint Bernard circles.
"We would like to share this wealth of knowledge and experience with other Saint Bernard breeding kennels and keepers", explains Claudio Rossetti, Managing Director of the Barry Foundation. "We would therefore be quite prepared not only to help find a new home for the animals from Zermatt if necessary, but also, more generally, to offer assistance and advice whenever required, even during the transitional phase".
