Get to know our St. Bernards on a forest walk in the enchanting winter scenery of Champex-Lac. This destination is situated in the heart of a magnificent Alpine panorama.

Details of the activity

  • Walking time: approx. 45 minutes
  • Distance: 2 km for 75m of ascent and descent
  • Participants: The number of participants is limited to 8 people, split up to a maximum of three different groups (one dog per group).
  • Dogs: You will be accompanied by 3 St. Bernards, which you can keep on a lead in turn. Private dogs are not permitted.
  • Weather: The walks take place in all weathers, except in dangerous weather conditions (thunderstorms, hail, violent storms, etc.).
  • Itinerary: Round trip on a groomed forest path that is not suitable for buggies and wheelchairs. You are welcome to bring your own sledges and/or bobsleds.

⚠️ For logistical reasons, it is no longer possible to walk around Lake Champex. Unfortunately, the new itinerary does not allow dogs to be harnessed (sledging for children)..

Location | The activity takes place at Champex-Lac. The meeting point for participants is 250m from the Breya chairlift in Champex-Lac (towards Martigny-Les Valettes), in the car park at the start of the via Val Darpette.

Dates | This activity is offered on weekends in January and February (four times a day), according to the dates in the booking calendar.

Price (bookings from November 1st 2024)

  • Adults (aged 17 and over): CHF 39
  • Children (aged 4 to 16): CHF 18
    This activity is not suitable for children under the age of 4. Children must be accompanied by an adult (max. of 2 children per adult).
